New Dance Classes update

Just keeping you updated on our class offerings:

New classes starting soon:

Couples' ballroom dancing 9 weeks March 2 to April 27 Mondays 8:30 - 9:15 pm $252/couple for 9 weeks, plus $35 annual registration fee if you are not currently members

6 weeks acro ages 6-10 Mondays 3:30 - 4 pm $60 per child, plus annual registration fee $20/child or $35/family

6 weeks contortion for all ages 6 and up Thursdays 7 - 8 pm March 5 to April 9. $90/person plus annual registration fee

Teen ballet ages 11 - 17 Mondays 4 - 4:30 pm. $40 per month until June, plus reg fee

Contemporary Ages 8 - 14 Thursdays 5 - 5:45 pm $50 per month until June, plus reg fee if applicable

Hip hop Ages 8 - 14 Thursdays 5:45 - 6:15 pm $40 per month until June, plus reg fee if applicable.

Combine Thursday Contemporary and Hip hop and save $20/month! The two back to back classes are $70 per month as a combo. Ask the office for help to claim this discount.

Lots of other classes that have been running for a while are still accepting students. Many others are closed to new students, as we have begun our competition season, and it no longer works to add new dancers to the routines.

Note: Monday ages 4 - 7 hip hop 4:30 - 5 pm will be closed to new students as of March 1.

Most of our other classes will close shortly in preparation for our recital in June. Students need time to learn the routine so they know what to do on stage.

You may register in person, over the phone 604-795-6009, or online.

To register online go to the website above, and click the "register" button on any page. This will lead you to our registration site (Amilia Smart Rec). Choose "Dance". All of our classes are listed there. Contortion is listed in the "Family Classes" section. Couples Ballroom is in the "Dance Technique and/or Exercise" section under "Couples". If you prefer a private lesson for your wedding dance, choose "Private Lessons" instead of the technique section. Any classes that are closed are not visible, so if you see a class on the list, you can still register.
