CHILLIWACK GYMNASTICS AND DANCE CHRISTMAS 2024 HOLIDAY INFORMATION
December and January Schedule:
Regular classes will run until Saturday, Dec 21. Therefore everyone gets 3 classes in December. There will be open gym playtimes available during the holiday, and anyone enrolled for the term in either dance or gymnastics is welcome to attend one for free to make up for the 4th December class. No instructed classes from Sunday, Dec 22, 2024 through Friday, January 3, 2025. Classes resume on Saturday, January 4, 2025. Everyone gets 4 classes in January.
Closure:
We are completely closed Dec 24 to Dec 26, and also closed on New Year's Day January 1.
Birthday parties are offered on several days during the holidays. If they are booked we will be open; if not, we might be closed during those times. Book online (preferred) or at the office.
The week of Dec 30 – Jan 3 we will be having Gymnastics BC coach training in the gym from 9 am to 6 pm, except New Year's Day, when we are closed. Someone may be able to return messages on those days before and after training.
Drop-in Gym Open Gym play times during the holidays:
Saturday, Dec 21 noon – 1 pm all ages
Sunday, Dec 22 3 – 4 pm all ages
Monday, Dec 23 2 – 4 pm all ages
Friday, Dec 27 noon – 2 pm all ages
Saturday, Dec 28 noon – 1 pm all ages
Sunday, Dec 29 3 – 4 pm all ages
Thursday, Jan 2, 2025 6 – 8 pm all ages
Saturday, Jan 4 noon – 1 pm all ages
Sunday, Jan 5 3 – 4 pm all ages
Tuesday, Dec 31 – special New Year's Party event – cannot count towards your make up class. See info below.
No other regular drop in times will be open.
Drop-in gym cost for those not making up a class (come several times, or bring your friends!):
$9 for members who have paid Gymnastics BC Insurance and whose parents are supervising (or adults/teens).
$13 for non-members
Add $8 if we are supervising the kids, ie kids are dropped off.
Free if using drop in for your 4th December class.
Family New Year's Eve Party Special:
Come party with us on New Year's Eve!
Play time in the gymnastics gym, and dance party in the dance studio!
We will watch the ball drop on TV from Times Square in New York at 9 pm our time, and watch again at our own midnight.
Bring snacks, or buy some that we will have available.
Party time options on December 31, 2024:
7:30 – 12:30 5 hours for $35 per child or $80 per family. No charge for parents if not playing. Parents who play should pay.
7:30 – 9:30 2 hours for $20 per child or $45 per family.
If we are supervising your children (ie you are not staying) there is an additional fee of $8 per hour per child.

End of Term 1 Gymnastics:
Term 1 gymnastics ends at the end of January. Term 2 (Feb – June) is already available for registration on our registration site. Register online now or ask the office to do it for you. If you are making automatic payments, those do not automatically continue into February, so those need to be set up again.
No need to re-register for most dance classes, but some new ones are starting in January:
Most of our dance programs run from September to June, so no need to re-register for those. Some exceptions: couples' ballroom, contortion.
